Issues of life are universal. Challenges of life affect everybody.
One of the lies of the devil is that you are the only one with that problem.
There is nobody under heaven that does not have an issue to contend with.
All the people that God used in the bible had one issue or another.
Noah was a drunkard, Abraham was a pathological liar, Isaac and Jacob were liars, Moses was anger personified, Elisha was a bald headed man, Elijah had a bad attitude, Paul was short and ugly, Timothy could not heal himself of the stomach upset he suffered, and Peters’ prayer could not unlock the prison gate despite his anointing.
Those who have major destinies have major issues in life.
Things to note about issues of life.
1. Issues of life are universal.
The good news is even though the issues of life are universal, they are not meant to overwhelm, consume and swallow you.
Do not “specialise” what God has “commonised.”
What is common can easily be conquered.
2. The issues of your life have an expiry date.
God does not deceive or lie.
What you have been expecting can be resisted but not refused.
What you have been trusting God for can be delayed but not denied.
Things to learn from 1 Peter 5:10
You can suffer from one thing or another.
The suffering is not forever.
What are you expected to do?
1. Do not give up.
Try again and try again.
You cannot lay hold of future success until you let go of past failure.
a) Your yesterday is not equal to your tomorrow.
b) Never use your history to determine your destiny.
c) Never use your past to produce your future.
d) Those who have a future are those who know how to disconnect from their past.
Where there is a will, there is a way.
Where there is decision, there is destination.
If there is motion, there is a future.
What made her succeed?
2. Her mental, spiritual and emotional strength.
What you carry outside is not as important as what you carry inside because what you carry on the inside is what gives value to what you carry outside.
Fervour means to be fervent, to be set on fire.
The reason why you are at the back is not because you are black but because of lack of firerization.
Fervour gives birth to favour.
